The workshop, which will be held next Sunday at Millennium Doha Hotel, will train physicians on the basic services for occupational and environmental health.

The 5-day workshop will be opened by the Director of Public Health Department at MoPH, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Thani. Experts from WHO EMRO will undertake the training of the second batch of physicians from Hamad Medical Corporation, Primary Health Care Corporation, Workers Health Centers and a number of physicians working in various companies.

The workshop comes within the framework of MoPH’s keenness to provide the best occupational and environmental healthcare services for workers of all industrial, construction, economic and service sectors with a view to enhancing workers’ health, as well as implementing one of the National Health Strategy Projects (NHS), “Occupational Health Project”.
