PHCC to Host the International Primary Health Care Conference 2017 in Doha

Primary Health Care Corporation in Qatar announced that it will host The International Primary Health Care Conference in Doha from 17-19 November 2017.

The theme of the Conference is “”. Topics covered the program include Health Systems and Quality Improvement; Clinical Management and Practice, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Education and Training; as well as Capacity Building.

So the conference will bring together inspiring speakers and experts from across the globe; in order to share knowledge and best practice through panel sessions, exhibitions and workshops.

The pre-conference workshops will cover a variety of topics such as Knee & Shoulder Examination, Minor Surgical Skills including Wound Management, and Cultural Competence.

Most of all the 3-day event will honor progress and embrace the future of primary healthcare; providing a platform to share knowledge, facilitate discussion of best practices; and underline Qatar’s legacy of promoting health and wellness by providing excellence in primary healthcare.

Managing Director at PHCC, Dr. Mariam Abdulmalik, said “There is a continual necessity for healthcare professionals to develop their knowledge, discover the latest innovations and learn the new means available to ensure that they are delivering excellence in healthcare”.
